To ensure your child is developing sustainably, we always put their wellbeing at the forefront of our daycare and preschool services. Our nurseries at Whitehouse Farm and Killingworth Way ensure all the meals and snacks provided for your child are healthy and nutritious, and regularly change our menus to introduce new meals and flavours to children.
TEACHING THEM THE SKILLS THEY NEED
An essential element of child development is understanding how to be a valuable member of a community so we ensure to teach children about the importance of roles and responsibilities within our own farm. Whether children are feeding lambs or monitoring animal habitats, we aim to teach them about team work and caring for one another.

Play is important to child development and we ensure to account for a lot of play and fun between activities and tasks. From soft play to tractor rides there is endless joy and entertainment to be found at our nurseries.

Our staff are trained to help nurture and challenge inquisitive minds and to support children as they develop at their own pace.

Aside from the team who work directly with our children, we also have amazing staff members who prepare fresh, home-cooked meals daily. We always ensure our children get the nutrition they need and always cater to health and dietary requirements.

GETTING THE NUTRITION THEY NEED
Our nurseries each have their own qualified chefs. All of the meals and snacks provided are home cooked onsite. Our meals are nutritionally balanced taking inspiration from the NHS Start for Life programme and the Governments Early Years Foundation food and drink welfare requirements.

​We are delighted that we were awarded 5 stars after opening from the Environmental Health Inspector. We are proud that we have maintained that 5-star rating ever since. All of our staff have a minimum L2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
