Our dedicated team enhances the environment with carefully planned activities to enrich each child's learning journey.
We favour natural and reclaimed materials over conventional toys, fostering creativity and curiosity through hands-on exploration. We work in conjunction with Nemo to deliver swimming lessons at PaddlePod. We also place great importance on good manners and respect, helping to prepare children for life beyond nursery. Through high-quality Early Years education, we aim to provide a strong foundation that supports every child in reaching their full potential, both now and in the future.
PREPARING THEM FOR TOMORROW, TODAY
Pedagogy refers to the understanding of how children learn and develop, as well as the practices used by adults to support and enhance that process. It is shaped by values and beliefs about what we want for our children and is informed by knowledge, theory, and experience. Children are naturally capable learners, and with the right support, every child can make meaningful progress in their development.

At our nurseries, we embrace a blend of pedagogical approaches, ensuring children learn through play, observation, and guided support from adults. Our practitioners create environments that foster high-quality play, giving children the time and space to develop their own ideas and scenarios. When appropriate, they engage in play to gently guide and extend learning. Alongside free play, children follow a flexible routine that includes group activities and structured adult-led sessions, all tailored to support their well-being and enthusiasm for learning. Preschool children receive more structured learning to help ease their transition into reception class.
DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THEIR LEARNING
Early Years teaching is not about a formal or rigid approach but rather encompasses the many ways in which adults support young children’s learning. This includes engaging in meaningful interactions, modelling language, demonstrating, exploring ideas, asking questions, encouraging problem-solving, and setting challenges. It also involves creating enriching environments, providing appropriate resources, and establishing routines that promote security and independence.
A key part of this process is assessing each child’s progress, considering their interests and learning styles, and using this insight to plan their next steps, ensuring they continue to thrive.
The PaddlePod
Our pre-school children will be able to access bespoke Nemo swimming lessons in the award winning PaddlePod. We will enable busy parents to be positioned to provide their children with life saving swimming lessons within the nursery day. This will offer our children a head start of the National Curriculum framework as well as supporting their broader cognitive and physical development.
